Andrea Fink

Andrea Fink has lived in the Pacific Northwest her entire life. She was raised somewhere between Seattle and Tacoma and now lives somewhere between Seattle and Everett with her husband and her daughter.

It’s horrible and rains all the time. Never move here. Ever. [That should keep ‘em away.]

By day, Andrea is an elementary school teacher.

My favorite part of the day is read-aloud time.

Andrea graduated with a Bachelors in Science in Environmental Science and Resource Management with an emphasis in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Washington.

I am particularly fond of herpetology.

She met her husband in Husky Marching Band.

Go Dawgs.

She used to work at a science museum.

I got paid to blow stuff up and handle snakes (not at the same time).

Andrea is the youngest of four kids.

And possibly the favorite.

She wanted to be a Ravenclaw, but was sorted into Slytherin.

Probably because all the snake stuff. I’ve come to love it.

She always appreciates an Airplane! reference.

Her current D&D character is a Tiefling Wizard with an affinity for sugar.

I appreciate that she is bubbly but will also eff you up. She inspired a certain character in Mask.

She has seen Dave Matthews Band live every year for the last 14 years except 2020.

And I try to throw a reference into every book.
